Privacy Policy

VitalForge AI is built by RGA Studios. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it's used. We've written it to reflect exactly what the app does — not boilerplate.

1. Information We Collect

Account & profile data. Name, age, weight, height, gender, and fitness goals you provide during setup, used to personalize workouts, meal plans, and calorie targets.

Health & activity data. With your permission, VitalForge reads step count and calories burned through Android's Health Connect, sourced from your phone's sensors or a connected smartwatch. We never write data back to other health apps without your action, and you can revoke this access at any time in Health Connect's own settings.

Photos you choose to scan. When you use the camera-based food scanner, the photo you capture is sent to our AI provider for analysis and is not stored permanently on our servers after the analysis completes.

Voice recordings. When you use voice meal logging, your speech is converted to text on-device or via Google's speech recognition service, then the resulting text is sent for AI analysis. Raw audio is not retained.

Workout & nutrition history. Workouts completed, meals logged, and progress over time, stored locally on your device and, where applicable, synced to our backend to support your account.

Usage & diagnostic data. Basic app usage (e.g. which features are used) and crash diagnostics, used to fix bugs and improve the app.

2. How AI Processing Works

VitalForge AI uses Google's Gemini API to generate workouts, meal plans, and to analyze food photos and voice descriptions. The specific content you submit for these features (your prompt, a food photo, or a transcribed voice note) is sent to Google's Gemini service for processing and is subject to Google's API terms. We do not use your personal data to train any AI model.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

Google Health Connect — for reading step and calorie data with your explicit permission.

Google Gemini API — for generating workouts, meal plans, and analyzing food/voice input.

Google AdMob — shows ads to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and approximate location to serve and measure ads. Premium subscribers see no ads at all. You can review Google's own practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Google Play Billing — processes all subscription payments directly. VitalForge never sees or stores your payment card details.

Firebase (Google Cloud) — powers backend authentication, app configuration, and abuse-prevention systems that keep the app secure and reliable.

We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only with the service providers listed above, strictly to operate the features you use, and as required by law.

Most of your personal data — workout history, profile, logged meals — is stored locally on your device. Where data is synced to our backend, it's protected using industry-standard encryption in transit and access controls on our servers.

VitalForge AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
